Furnished rooms for trainees at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center

Your own room, twenty minutes from the Academy.

A three-bedroom duplex in Yukon, set up for FAA students. Private furnished bedroom, everything in the house already there, and one price that covers the utilities and the Wi-Fi. You'll be sharing a kitchen with classmates instead of a hallway with tourists.

Rooms go by class track, so the earlier you have dates, the better.

What's already in the house

Bring a suitcase and your study material. Everything below is here when you arrive, and it stays whether you're here four weeks or five months.

Your bedroom

  • Private room with a door that locks, not a bunk and not a shared room
  • Full or queen bed, made up and ready
  • Desk and lamp, since that's where most of your evening is going
  • Dresser and a closet with room for a uniform and a winter coat

Shared with your housemates

  • Full kitchen with cookware, dishes, and the usual appliances
  • Living room with a smart TV and a dining table big enough to spread out on
  • Washer and dryer in the unit, so no quarters and no laundromat
  • Off-street parking

One number covers the bills

Electricity, gas, water, trash, and high-speed Wi-Fi are all in the rate. Nothing gets metered, split, or billed back to you at the end of the month, and you won't be opening utility accounts in a state you're living in for one training track.

The internet is sized for three people streaming and studying at once, so your coursework and somebody else's movie can coexist.

Pets

Considered case by case, with a pet fee and a look at the animal first. Assistance animals aren't pets and aren't charged a fee. Just tell us ahead of time so the room is ready.

Built around Academy schedules

A normal lease assumes you know where you'll be in a year. Training doesn't work that way, so ours doesn't either.

  • Short tracks welcome

No thirty-day minimum. If your course runs four weeks, rent it for four weeks.

  • If your track changes, you can go

Written into the lease: if your dates move or your class is cancelled, you can leave early without a penalty. Show us the paperwork and that's the end of it.

  • Priced with per diem in mind

Rates are set against the government lodging per diem for the Oklahoma City area, so the math works whether you're being reimbursed or paying out of pocket.

  • Paperwork we can work with

Itemized receipts and a signed lodging statement for your voucher, no chasing required. Ask about billing arrangements and we'll tell you what we can do.

Yukon, and the drive in

The house is on a quiet residential street west of the city. Take I-40 straight east or run the Kilpatrick, and either one puts you at the Aeronautical Center in about twenty minutes outside of rush hour.

It's a neighborhood, not a complex. No shared corridors, no front desk, and nobody running a vacuum outside your door at nine in the morning after you've been on a mid.

Minutes away

  • Walmart Supercenter and Costco
  • Gyms, restaurants, and the shops along Garth Brooks Boulevard
  • Urgent care and a pharmacy

You're renting from a family

STC Properties is family-owned. The person who answers your text is the one who signs your lease and the one who sends somebody out when the water heater quits. Not a corporate housing portal, not a call center, and not a host you'll never actually meet.

It also means we've done this with Academy classes before, and we know what report dates, schedule slides, and short-notice moves look like.

How to get a room

  1. Text your dates and track

Report date, how long the course runs, and whether you're ATC, Tech Ops, or FSS. We'll tell you what's open and what it costs.

  2. See it without flying out

We'll walk the house on video and answer anything on a call. Most people book from out of state before they ever land in Oklahoma.

  3. Sign and get your keys

A short lease you can actually read, signed electronically. The room is made up and the keys are ready the day you arrive.

Ask about availability

Texting is fastest, especially if you're a few time zones off. Include your report date and your track and you'll get a straight answer about whether there's a room.

If nothing is open for your class, we'll say so rather than string you along while you're trying to book travel.
